Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Beautiful updated property close to the beach. We really love Lakeland Village. It was our second time there, first time in the lodge. We loved the garage parking, the loft, the ice-makers. The unit was super cute, nicely decorated. This is such a great location.
I thought I had booked a room at the Econ Lodge, but I had not. I did book a room at Econ Lodge, but was given a room at a nearby hotel. That required walking on a very busy street with no sidewalk to breakfast or the office or the ice machine (I Have a broken ankle). It was awful. Awful. I asked for a transfer and did get that - to another room at the nearby hotel. I can't speak to what it would have been like at the actual Econo Lodge, since I was not there.
Good location. Good looking but not thoroughly clean. No staff on site. Stayed for 2 nights, didn’t rly wanna spend my 3 days in Tahoe complaining about the place. You get what you pay for. Although I’ve stayed in lodges/inn that were as cheap but has great amenities and very clean, and felt safe.
Vibe of the lodge could be way better if they wanted to.
The room was very nice and cozy, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Daughter loved the bathroom mirror. Body wash smelled good. Beer garden with live music/shopping was beautiful and so much fun, such a lovely amenity that other hotels/motels/ lodges don't offer. Staff was great!! Mini cooler was dope! Love the s'mores kit you offered.
The location was ideal and the lodges bespoke. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the chef was brilliant. The standard of the evening meals far exceeded our expectations for this setting.
