Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We stayed here after finishing up a bike trip, and it was entirely perfect. The lodge was so lovely (we were actually the only guests that night) with so much space for us to sprawl out our selves and gear and reconfigure after a week of camping. Sandwiches at the sawmill were just what was needed. After a disappointing stay somewhere else at the beginning of our trip, this awesome place at nearly the same price was extra delightful.
The Lodge exterior is very pretty as noted in advertising photos. In spite of being terribly understaffed, the staff was always very helpful and accommodating.
From the kind email Loy we that checked us in to our 4 a.m. checkout, we felt very comfortable in our unfamiliar surroundings. The room was spotless and quite large. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely choose Lenroot Lodge.

How does it work?
1
It starts with a booking
It starts with a booking
The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
Followed by a trip
Followed by a trip
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
And finally, a review
And finally, a review
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.
