I came to San Antonio for the annual Texas State Senior Games - but I am on SS disability and have to find the cheapest hotels available - preferably under $50 a night. EconoLodge met that stipulation. Also, for that price, I like to have a refrigerator and microwave available since I bring my own food for the competition. Again, EconoLodge met that stipulation.
During my recent business trip to San Antonio, I had the privilege of staying at the Travelodge by Wyndham. The accommodation provided was exceptional, with excellent amenities.
The staff at the Travelodge by Wyndham San Antonio Downtown Northeast was extremely courteous and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
I arrived at the hotel and there was no one available to process my booking. I was standing outside in the sweltering heat for 45mins before I left to lodge in another hotel and spending money I did not plan for. I called the front desk asked how to get my refund, the attendant hanged the phone on me.
At Wyndham Travelodge, I had an amazing experience on my first stay. The staff was incredibly courteous and welcoming. The lodging was comfortable and spacious. Additionally, the 24-hour reception desk proved to be quite helpful. For those new to San Antonio, I highly recommend Wyndham Travelodge– it's definitely been my top pick so far!

It's close to the historic Alamo and conveniently located near the airport, so you can easily get around during your trip. The rooms are incredibly clean and tidy, while the 24-hour reception service is really helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend it; it's an excellent place with great value for money.
