Location was good, close to what we wanted to do, and close to train station. Rooms were fine, even though it was not howard johnson's but travelodge, which was confusing when looking for the hotel. Very good price, makes up for the fact it wasn't really a Howard Johnsons. Being cheap makes the negatives not a big deal, luckily I planned for no real breakfast, so that did not catch me unprepared. Wasn't even a 'continental breakfast'.

The lady at the desk was so sweet and was the only great part of my experience. I will say that the room was cute and seemed decently clean? I'm actually not sure though since I left. Edit: Travelodge really did make good on this and refunded me! That brings my review up another star. Thank you, Travelodge!

    1. This property has improved somewhat since my last stay but only marginally. However, it still falls way short of most Choice/Econo Lodge standards 2. Location is good.

Our stay at the Econo Lodge was fair but we had not received any servicing of the room everyday and they were very agitated about the check out time as if we were just nothing but cat one can work on their customer service capabilities that young lady that stabbed at the door or the lobby at the desk was excellent staff that was tasked to remove everyone from their rooms I promptly at 11 a.m. does not take into account that we are customers paying for this room please Rectify this problem thank you John Newman

The bed was comfortable, but if you are over 250 you may bottom out on the mattress. The heater was warm on this side of the hotel. The Travellodge side is freezing. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

I liked that we were able to book a room here at 1 in the morning After the Econo Lodge on Virginia canceled my reservation at midnight when I arrived after driving 4 hours from another town.
