Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Well kept independent motor lodge. Hard, comfortable mattress and new furniture. Clean bathroom and linens. Nice soap and shampoo provided. Pool looked nice but we didn’t have time to use it. Set back from a fairly quiet road.
The staff were very responsive to any questions or even suggestions for places to eat or visit. I did not have any issues of any type during my stay. As it was impossible to "see" or experience everything the area has to offer I will be going back, likely this fall and will stay at Berkshire Mountain Lodge.

Cool retro motor lodge that has been refreshed. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot with good pressure. Surrounding neighborhood was a little sketchy but we felt safe on the property. Definitely go to the Hot Dog Ranch next door for a cold beer and a Baby Hot Dog! Delicious!
Really happy that we found this lodge - nice 1 bedroom unit with kitchen, so perfect with kids. Great location and not too expensive. A bit old school but has a nice feel.
