Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Was there breakfast? I wish I had known! I really liked the elk outside the hotel. That was an added bonus! The room and lodge itself were wonderfully decorated and very clean. My visit was very comfortable. Everything I came for.

This property was very clean and the rooms have been updated nicely. It’s true that sound seems to carry easily down the hallway but it wasn’t enough to disturb our sleep. The popcorn machine in the entry was a fun touch and the front desk people were kind and accommodating. There was a nice open space next to the hotel with grass and picnic tables and the restaurants in town were all very good. Packwood and Crest Trail Lodge would be my first choice for future stays in the area.

The staff was incredibly nice and the lobby service was a nice touch (fresh popcorn and great coffee throughout my stay.). Good cell service,--not always the case in Packwood--reliable wifi, and good tv service; all super nice to have after a long day on the slopes! I had a great and restful time. Thank you, CREST TRAIL LODGE!

Our stay at Packwood Lodge was truly fantastic. The standout feature was its close proximity to Mount Rainier, which was the primary reason for our visit. Being just a stone's throw away from such a magnificent natural wonder was a major plus.

Large room, large bathroom. One hour drive to Sunrise, and one hour drive to Paradise at Mt Rainier National Park. I chose this Lodge only because of its location.

All the rooms had hardwood floors instead of carpeting which I liked. There's not much to offer in Packwood, and I think Crest Lodge Trail is the best that you will find.

The lodge is well kept, the room is clean and spacious and the facilities work properly. Good location, easy access to restaurants, coffee shop and market. Only non-smoking rooms, which I personally loved. Would definitely recommend.

we booked the Packwood lodge for 2 nights and we were asked to vacate the property due to wildfires and they never refunded us for 1 night. it’s been 2 months since we have been following up and very disappointed in their customer service.
