Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The woodwork on the lodge was beautiful. The lodge was very nicely lit up which made it easy to spot as you are driving in the dark. They also had a nice area outside with corn hole games and chairs around a fire pit. Tina set up the breakfast and she was lovely. we had a brief conversation about the lodge and she said that they have new owners and they will be making some changes. I would give them another change and hope that the new owners pay more attention to some details.
This is a clean, comfortable lodge. The family enjoyed our stay. My kids are use to Marriott and higher resorts, but they fell in and enjoyed their time. I only wish I had more time to enjoy the Yurt and fire.
Me and my son loved loved loved the Lodge overall! The staff was super friendly, well kept grounds -thank you Ethan for keeping the parking lot and walkways snow free- perfect location and room was comfortable and homey. The quality of the supplied toiletries and bath towels were a definite delight being so luxurious!!
The Alpine lodge was within walking distance from everything you would need. A grocery and liquor store were right in front of it. Food and bar establishments were right next to it. Gore Mountain was less than 10 mins down the road. The beds were very comfortable and having a mini fridge in the room was convenient. The lodge lobby was self service, and they had everything from granola bars to Starbucks K-cups.
The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The room was beautiful decorated and gave you that Alpine feel. We would definitely stay at the lodge on our next trip to Gore Mountain.
