Everything. Very comfortable bed. Great location. Wonderful maid staff
Located 13 miles south of the Denali National Park entrance on Carlo Creek, these cabins feature views of the surrounding forests and mountains. An on-site café serves all homemade food.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
I stayed here for three days. The service was very great and professional. Shuttles in the property and too to Denali offers good mobility without using individual car. The Dining, shopping and entertainment around Karstens Restaurant with great views to the mountains makes the different to many others lodges.
The location was very central next to various restaurants and eateries that were open till 10pm during the season. Having a laundry on site was great to wash clothes after our cruise. The cabins were newly renovated and had a fresh look.
It’s just across from the Princess Wilderness Lodge that had the free shuttles to Denali Park. We stayed in the stand alone cabins which were private, even though it was in the RV campground
Closer to the Denali Park visitor centre, Also Princess lodge is across the road where a free shuttle bus to the Denali Park is available from 6 am to 7 pm
The Grand Denali Lodge is perched high above the main road with breathtaking views of the national park. It is just a short drive off the main road that transports you to incredible views of the surrounding mountains. The property has a restaurant, bar and coffee/grab & go cafe that was very convenient. The room was great with a king size bed and all the room amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Location was perfect for a visit to Denali National Park.
Great location in proximity to Denali- 20 minute drive, but worth it to be away from the massive cruise ship facilities.
Comfortable beds and plenty of pillows. Basic items in kitchen. Kids loved the fire pit and the small stream. View from lodge was great.
Appreciated the full coffee bar and the huge Alaska cinnamon rolls. Packed lunch offer was a little bit expensive, but a nice convenience.
The location is fantastic only 20 miles from Denali national park and is pleasant in the trees with a view of the mountains and a creek nearby. They even had a microwave and small fridge, which I did not expect. there are picnic tables outside if the weather is good. The parking is a little small but worked OK since there weren’t that many guests. it is the perfect place to stay if you are coming from the Anchorage direction and don’t want to stay in the more expensive lodges at Denali.
