Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

We stayed in a rustic cabin and LOVED the wood stove, along with the stocked wood. The shared bathroom was immaculate, and the lodge/bar was an amazing surprise! They have a pool table. They even have a small store with one of everything you could possibly want. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We loved getting away for the weekend at the Lochsa Lodge this winter. The bed was comfortable, and the room was nice and warm with the wood burning stove. Although the bathroom was not connected to our cabin, the shared facilities were kept extremely clean and warm.

Loved the location and the log lodge! Dinner in the restaurant was great. We had burgers, they were well made. Check in and out was extremely easy.

Staff never showed up in the morning. Doors to breakfast stayed locked. Had to travel down the road to Lochsa Lodge for breakfast. Refund?

We were there for a reunion of The Powell RD so had spent a lot of time at the old lodge 40 years ago. The new lodge is beautiful. The lodge hosted our meet and greet and catered our dinner the next night. They did a great job. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable.

Great historical location and plenty of retro “lodge” character. Hot springs are lovely. Staff helpful. Very relaxed vibe here. Restaurant was very good.

The proximity of the cabins to the main lodge was excellent, and the property had ready access to route 12 and was in a very good location for the hikes that we intended to do.
