Really charming Lodge with a nice small comfortable room, and a good couple of chairs on the porch. The General Manager was really nice and helpful on checking in providing suggestions for local restaurants and hikes. Really pieceful and quiet place. Also comes with self-serve breakfast in the morning, perfect before going on the road.
The room was clean and sufficient for an overnight stay. Parking was convenient and there’s a lovely porch on the end of the lodge that was a nice place to relax at sunset. Though the only internet was a hotspot just in front of the registration office, but that wasn’t a deal breaker for us as we enjoy being “unplugged” awhile.
how calm and peaceful it was! it was relaxing and homey and just perfect for our short stay. the locals plus employees at the lodges & cottages were super helpful and friendly.
Fabulous: the porch, the breakfast nook selections, the grounds and flowers, Wendy in the office was very kind and helpful with information on the area and a map. We stayed in the lodge. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location to local sites was excellent. A pub next door and restaurant across the street only open on weekends at this time. Would have liked to try those but did not work out for us.
Very lovely lodge with excellent customer service. Charming all around. The breakfast nook was great. Everything at the lodge was thoughtful and caring - there is clearly great pride taken in the care of the facility, grounds and customers. Also a great location.
Love staying at the Linville Lodge. Beautiful lodge. Clean. Comfy, Quiet and the people are extremely nice. Beautiful setting and peaceful nights. Will definitely be returning.
