We love the place where we stayed at. Host Carrie was really helpful in providing us the best view we requested which is really by the river. She’s also accomodating when we had questions and she felt sorry and gave us voucher due to no electricity/power because the main power line had some issues.

The lodge is pet friendly and right on the river. It was clean. and the staff friendly. The wife and I enjoyed our stay, and the price was reasonable. We will be booking this place for future Kern river getaways for sure

This place is amidst the Sequoia forests and is a very quiet place. Perfect place to cut off from rest of the world, and be close to nature. The Quiet Mind Lodge offers comfort and quality that is top class considering its location and associated complexity. The hospitality of the team was amazing. The food was very good too.

This lodge is a little dated, the view from our room was beautiful. The kitchenette offered dishes, small cook top and outdoor bbq.

The surroundings are spectacular, the sound of the stream nearby, the nature. The lodge itself is really cozy. And the support we've received from the staff was amazing: the help with the check-in, yes; but also we accidentally left some of our stuff in the lodge and they shipped it to us by international mail very quickly. Shame we only spent one night there.

The location is amazing. The views from the lodges and the pool were spectacular. The lodges themselves were comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were very helpful and accommodated our late arrival easily. I would definitely recommend Whispering Pines Lodge for a quiet escape at the edge of the Sierras

Adam (the host) was friendly and genuinely helpful. Great at communicating, prepped good breakfast for us and was always available when we needed something - Thank you! The location is exquisite and quiet indeed - the name suits the lodge. Kern river flows right behind, you can see it rushing right from the room, and the sound of it too if you listen closely. Nature lovers can spend hours just gazing at it. Dog friendly and one of the closest lodges to the Trail of 100 Giants in Sequoia National Forest.

It has an amazing location - the views and gentle roar of the river Kern was just superb. There are several bars, restaurants and a well stocked supermarket less than 5 min walk away. The lodges are large, traditional and clean. Receptionist was very friendly and informative.
