Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We stayed in 2 tents at the lodge. It is very nice situated in the forest, just remote enough to not hear traffic, but also a short drive from Yosemite Valley. We loved staying here and the staff was so friendly!
I couldn't speak highly enough about this hotel! From the moment we arrived, it felt like such a magical experience. The room was big and there are excellent facilities including a kids games room and a huge swimming pool. They had daily activities for the whole family! It was also only a short drive to the park entrance, which was a plus. If you want a once in a lifetime experience I would recommend paying for Rush Creek Lodge!
We stayed there right after we visited Yosemite National Park, the location is good, and the laundry is cheap.
The lodge is so warm to remind me to apply for a park permit, it’s really helpful.
Fantastic time at Evergreen again! nice location ~45-55 mins from the valley with great lodges, restaurant, bar and store facilities. Highly recommended and look forward to next time.
Beautiful 2 bedroom lodges (can view sunset everyday from the balcony), good heating, parking just in front of the lodges. Beautiful location and facilities. The Staff was excellent, have to mention Douglas from the restaurant, who went beyond the usual menu to provide our toddler with some simple food!
amazing property set in the forest with a central area and little lodges dotted around. pool and hot tub and fire pits lit with free s’mores. food very nice and great location for Hetch hetchey and about 1hr into big oak entrance.
The restaurant, bar and breakfast were all great, with a very good chef. The Evergreen Lodge is a nice and relaxed environment with great lodges, children and adult games, outside tables, outdoor pool and sunset viewing points. The staff were all very helpful.
Stunning rural lodges in woodland location just on the edge of Yosemite. Very pretty pool with a nice view. Barbecue option for supper was delicious but overpriced. Great breakfast.
