Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Lovely grounds, free breakfast and afternoon snacks with wine and beer for purchase. Lots of places to sit outside on the deck and well-kept lawn. Big trees with lots of nice shade. And very cool history—definitely take a minute to flip through the photo album in the lodge and read about the notable guests. We stayed in the king room with spa bath and loved the balance of rustic and comfort (excellent AC!)
Original 1920’s lodge on the banks of the Rogue River. Wonderful grounds with mountains in the background. Sitting on the deck in the afternoon with appetizers provided by the hotel and a glass of wine was relaxing.
I loved the historic hotel and the grounds were lovely. The complimentary happy hour was generous, and the woman who prepared the food was so friendly and delightful. The campfire and s'mores was a great touch. The young woman at check in was a bit gruff and unhelpful as she required me to book online at the front desk and seemed annoyed by my presence even though there were few guests in the hotel. Overall, I think the property and lodge are well worth visiting.
The location of The Lodge at Riverside is excellent. Being by the river is beautiful. The Lodge is close to restaurants, shops, and activities. The breakfast is great because it is a full breakfast, not just a continental breakfast. It is just what you need before heading out to the outdoor activities in the area. The wine and cheese offered in the evening, and the warm cookies also offered in the evening are both a really nice touch. We highly recommend staying at The Lodge at Riverside!
This was our second stay with Weasku Inn. We love it here. This is one of the top Lodges in the NW
We would invite you to try it yourself. You will NOT be sorry.
STAFF IS INCREDIBLE
The staff was professional ,so courteous and welcoming. The Happy Hour was so nice in the lodge lobby along with cozy fire and warm cookies to close out the evenings just added that special touch to our stay. Our room was comfortable ,clean and spacious. The grounds of the hotel has beautiful trees, overlooks the Rogue River and close to many restaurants and shops.
Loved that the Lodge was on the Rogue River. Great view and Beautiful property. Loved the scenic path/walk to the restaurant and the restaurant (TapRock) was wonderful. Staff at both places were great!
