Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Nicely decorated common areas. Room was clean and the bed was comfy. Just what we needed as a road-trip stop. Loved having breakfast in the large, sun-filled lodge. Walkable to restaurants and stores.
Well we didn’t get to stay at the observatory lodge, we weee told it wasn’t ready maintenance wise and we were able to choose from another property. Of course nothing was close to this one but we made due with our stay at another property.
Staff went above and beyond.
Lodges are nestled in off the road by a beautiful forest with a small hiking trail.
The rooms and communal areas are exceptionally clean and modern
The restaurant does great food.
Rooms are spacious and well equipped.
