Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Very nice lodge. It is old and feels old. It’s like going back in time. A lot of space. The location near rainier park is sublime. Had a great time and would come back.
Great location that meets basic needs. Since you would most likely choose this property for the convenience of seeing Mt. Ranier NP, you shouldn't expect a 5-star experience here. Alexanders Lodge met all of our needs and expectations as a great place to crash after a long day out in nature.
This is a beautiful ‘Lodge’ in the wilderness! Absolutely wonderful! No breakfast, but an adorable Ukrainian restaurant right next door! Felt like we were staying in Mount Rainier Natl Park 🤩 just outside the entrance of the park!
Very charming lodge decor and room was spacious with comfy beds and extra pillows and blankets. Microwave and fridge were great to have. Nice big tv although we didn’t use it. Coffee tea and fruit in reception area was nice as well. Ukrainian restaurant next door was excellent. Conveniently close to Mt Rainier park.
Great location by the Mt Rainier Nisqually entrance gate. Only took us two minutes driving to get there from the lodge. Nice rustic interior with a beautiful natural looking pond. Water pressure was good, and the heat promptly turned on when we increased the temperature. Having WiFi was also a plus, where we could do some research before entering the park, though a little slow.
