Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The hotel was located where we needed it for out trip to Crater Lake and way cheaper than staying at the Crater Lake Lodge. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not it. But it is clean and the bed was comfortable.
Very stylish guesthouse/lodge in Chemult. The rooms are comfy, staff nice, coffee always available. In general, a nice stop during travelling in this part of USA.
Laid back and relaxing environment! The staff is very kind and helpful. The building has a rich history and I enjoy the fact that they have not tried to modernize it. There is an outside deck you can sit on as well that is very nice during the summer. We were visiting Crater Lake and the drive was not bad at all. There are a couple restaurants right by the lodge that you can walk to that are very good! I really recommend this stay.
We liked this historic lodge very much. It gives a nice impression of how it must have been in the past. The room was spacious with a nice porch around the house on the second floor.
