We liked the location—it’s in the woods, near the river, and just 20 minutes from the entrance to Denali Park.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
This is a wonderfully comfortable, homey lodge, with plenty of room to move around in, and flexibility to stay in or dine out, with microwave and fridge. It was blissfully quiet (never heard my neighbors coming or going) in a classic Alaskan setting. I stayed at 4 other places in the same price range during my travels, and this was far and away the most comfortable and desirable spot. I loved it!
This place has amazing amenities. Nice bar area, delicious food, lovely view and rooms are cleaned. On top of that they have books collection for readers. My friends praised me for selecting cantwell lodge. This place is 100/10.
