The manager was friendly as well as other staff. They are very accommodating. When I contacted the manager to inform them that I could not arrive early as we were stuck at Naabi gate, he took the initiative to offer to prepare dinner for my party. They surely did and it was very good dinner. The next day, since I was going to the crater, they took care of my luggages. They are very flexible and very understanding. I surely would recommend them.

The gardens and grounds were beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are enormous ; clean with huge shower and balcony.
Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The property is lovely. The staff are so accommodating. Excellent food. Amazing service.
Too much money and I hope that they can help the maasai community more where the lodge is located. They receive no benefit from giving up their land for the lodge to use.
Perfect location, absolutely stunning to see the magnificent Ngorongoro crater from the comfort of the lodge. Especially sunrise is breathtaking. The stay itself is a unique experience. Staff are very well trained and very attentive to guests, they all have shown us true East African natural hospitality.
Stunning views over the Ngorongoro Crater from every room. It is this that is the principal reason to choose this Hotel. Everything else was OK but not spectacular. In our case we were particularly disorganised about all our park permits as we self organised the trip, not using a safari company, and a flight delay took our park entry past 6 PM. It was all sorted with help from the hotel but then we were fortunate to have got the mobile phone number of a particularly helpful manager; this turned a potentially disasterous trip into a great one!
The rooms have fantastic views over the crater and are very comfortable. The heating system works well and is needed at nights. The bar and restaurant have similarly great views and is lovely to chill out and relax. The Wi-Fi works well and reasonably fast.
The lodge is close to the descending and ascending roads to the crater- both of which are paved and don’t present too much of a driving challenge
The staff are all very helpful.
If self driving, it is useful to know the lodge does have repair work shop where basic repairs can be done.
We arrived here at the end of a particularly busy safari day. This place was above and beyond what was expected and the breathtaking view from it makes this site very impressive. At night, antelopes appeared near our tent and the experience was perfect.
