Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Nearby safaripark Mikumi, well organized safari’s. Pick Up with private taxi from Dar es Salaam went very good. Nice driver. Child friendly hotel with playground and greenery
Very peaceful and tranquil place. Nice to come here to rest from the city noise or after the safari. Green and spacious territory, everything are clean and staff were very hospitable. The dinner was big and yummy.
Very friendly and hospitable host. She helped us a lot with arranging a safari through Mikumi National Park. Food was fine, helpfull staff and comfortable room.
A nice relaxed lodge on the edge of town. Far away to not be bothered by the nightlife ij town, bit close enough to visit the town as well ( take a bajaji for 2000 tsh).
Our rooms where nice and clean and the staff where very helpful when we came with a last minute change.
Asante sana
Brilliant place to stay! We had Pimbi, 3 large double beds, clean, huge bathroom. The food and facilities were excellent but most of all Gabriel & his staff bent over backwards to help us!
We had a flat tyre which they sorted out when local mechanics couldn’t!
Sophia our guide on safari worked for the hotel and was brilliant. She also took us on a great tour of Mikumi and the local Massi village!
Great to be able to stay in our own chalet, excellent location for accessing the national park for safari. The food was a high standard and the staff very welcoming. Nicely decorated and very comfortable.
it's a fun journey to a beautiful lodge on a ridge nestled in the trees. it takes a while on a bumpy road but well worth it with fantastic lodges, great food and such sweet, helpful and interesting staff.
