Zanbluu Beach Hotel, hotel in Kiwengwa

Located on the coast of Kiwengwa, Zanbluu Beach Hotel offers ocean and garden views. The property offers an infinity pool with views of the ocean, as well as a pool bar.

I wouldn’t know where to begin. The property was a dream, lovely location, perfect to switch off and survive on cocktails and great food. The hotel staff was incredible, we made some many friends and they truly went out of their way to care for us. My husband and I were celebrating our bdays and it was a wonderful experience. I was also heavily sunburnt after going to the sea and the staff did everything they could to help me with that. 10/10 recommend Zaanblu!

AFYA Village at the sea, hotel in Kiwengwa

With sea views, AFYA Village at the sea is situated in Michamvi and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.

If you are looking for a 5-star tourist resort with all luxury and comfort equipment, you should skip this kind of accommodation. If you are however looking for a unique spot, with humble bungalows carefully placed in the nature without affecting it, with wonderful views on the sunset directly from your terrace or dinner table, with sounds of animals like bushbaby, for a reasonable price, this place is for you. Talking about the dinner, the meal offer is small, but the food was very good. Despite of being this place far from the crowded most famous beaches, there are also very nice clean beaches with soft sand just by 10-15 minutes walk distance along the shore. Last to mention is the great staff and management/owner of this place. We felt here very well and it fulfilled our expectations.

What a lovely place to stay! It was perfect for us with our 2 young boys. The beach was amazing and the hotel itself was brilliant. Extra bonus was the kids play area. The food was fabulous and the location ideal. We spent 6 nights here after a safari in Tanzania and it was perfect. I did loads of research on locations and hotels and was so glad I chose this place. Highly recommend!

I stayed at Z Lodge hotel at the end of June 2024, in a small room for two, but in my opinion, it is more suitable for one person. It was very clean, cozy, friendly- staff always ready to help, and delicious breakfasts and cocktails. Special greetings to the bar!

The staff was friendly and accommodating. I needed an early breakfast and it wasn't a problem. The facilities are clean. The lodge has everything you need and if all you want to do is have drivers pick you up for daytrips or lounge around the hotel this is a great spot. But, don't expect a lively vibe, it is quiet. At night, bush babies come to visit the restaurant area because the staff feed them. The are wild.

At Z-Lodge we were upgraded to a spacious room for 4 people with the most beautiful sunset view in a big window and a view of the ocean - very impressive. The proximity to the ocean and all nature - birds, butterflies, bushbabies (at night - small animals that come to treat themselves to bananas) - all this was very exotic. Delicious food and cocktails. Hello to Bartender Sam

We came to Tanzania for a Safari, and decided to spend a few nights in Zanzibar, the rooms were nice, we stayed in the news section with a large view of the ocean. The staff were very friendly, the cocktails are tasty, the spa is unique and WORTH it, then we went skydiving, the food is what is like on the instagram, check it out @z.lodge.zanzibar Wicked place, love the owners special touch.

The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented . Lots of choice for both breakfast and evening meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and that combined with the incredible ocean view , beautiful clean lodges and wonderfully prepared food means that we will definitely be coming back . It was the most perfect place to unwind and relax. Thank you to Martin and his team for an incredible week in Paradise.

The hotel is very nice and a good mix compromise between a large "resort" style hotel and some of the small lodges. The price is relatively expensive compared to the quality of some services (WIFI, no TV in the room, light on the terrace not working)
