The owners upgraded us to the new rooms they have recently finished on the first floor. These rooms are spectacular. One of the best rooms I have ever stayed in and I've stayed in thousands in over a hundred countries. The decor and attention to detail is fantastic including a large bath next to the window with a view and a walk through double shower in the bathroom. As advertised it offers an amazing view of Mount Kilimanjaro once the cloud disappears during the afternoon.
They are busy constructing the property further but this had no impact on the stay and the property will be amazing once complete. The entrance and dining areas are very rustic and offer a completely different perspective from the room. Food preparation is all freshly made and of good standard. Just be sure to preorder lunch or dinner for the time you want as it can take them time to prepare.
The owners are clearly very proud of what they are building and striving to achieve a fantastic product. I only wish the majority of other hotels around the world had the same attitude when it comes to customer service.
