Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
I've stayed at Hotel Koliba a few times by now. As you can see from the photos they've managed to create quite a decent lodge, with wood used for mostly everything. The rooms are quite basic, but always super clean and the staff where super friendly and professional. Plenty of parking in the area. Pet friendly.
The location is amazing, it is indeed a great idea to have those floating wooden houses. There is a nice view. The house is very well exquiped. It has a sea side feeling. The terasse offers a nice seating. The beds are comfy. We appreciate a possibility to be there at 5 people, as usually it is limited to 4.
