The place itself was fine and good, but the issue was, that on arrival there was no staff and someone come after 45 minutes. Then he couldn't find room keys - we waited more 30 minutes. Also - in description of the place was option to get breakfast - during our stay it was impossible.

The entire cottage is perfect. We were five ones, two adults with three children. We were able to rest because this property is kid safe. There is a small room which fits children comfort and there are a lot of toys. Kitchen are fully equiped, bath room too. The scene of the cottage is awesome. It’s about 15-minutes-walk far from the ski slope so you don’t need to drive if you hate finding parking lot.

Reconstructed in 2017, Chata Safran is situated in a quiet location surrounded by the woods in the village of Donovaly.

The surroundings are just beautiful. The home is thought through into every detail. We had the breakfast delivered and decided to eat outside. We had a nice picnic with a stunning view. I also highly recommend booking the OM Sauna

The accomodation was very comfortable. The facilities are apparently new and clean. A baby bed is available, as are many table games which you can play on the outside terrace or in the comfortable livingroom with a fireplace (we didn't use the fireplace as it was a summer while we were there). A few toys prepared to entertain our baby daughter were a nice surprise. There is also a grill outside of the cottage which we used for roasting a nice dinner. The owners were very kind and helpful. The cottage is located in a beautiful region with many options for mountain (cyclo)hiking. Zvolen and some castles are close too for lovers of history.
