We liked practically everything. We couldn't really fault this place. In the picturesque woodland area, amongst bears and deers, in a cosy and welcoming retreat.
We were greeted by the owner, which was very personal, and he was very lovely. Showed us to our rooms which hadn't happened yet, so that was lovely.
Although I didn't speak fluent romanian, and my husband and family translated for me, I felt very welcome. The retreat and area was beautiful with waterfalls by the hotel, loads of outside seating and parking and a lovely resturant. We had breakfast and dinner there, and although I'm a vegetarian they catered to me so well. That was a lovely touch. And everyone said how amazing it was, the lady really cares about her job as a chef and you can tell.
The rooms themselves were lovely, had a cottage feel to them with plenty of storage and wardrobes, a fridge and all you need for a cosy night in.

The location was incredible, situated within the mountains, surrounded by further mountain ranges covered with snow peaks with views for miles all around. The property has a log fire place which you can light and feed the fire yourself, and is all hand build and finished by the owners on the land.
The host, wow what an exceptional person she really is, she greeted us late at night when we arrived, showed us everything, helped us with our bags waited on us hand and food, and even provided a traditional Romanian breakfast with fresh eggs meat and vegetables all provided from her farm land, at the cost of 60lei. The breakfast was so amazing I paid her 112 lei (£20) as I couldn’t justify paying so little for so much.

Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The pension and its Hungarian speciality restaurant are in a lovely older building perched like a hunting lodge above the town. Sinaia is a pretty and touristic, set on steep slopes up from the train station. We definitely needed a taxi up and down with luggage but the walk uphill from the hotel to the famous royal castles was nearby, steep but manageable and had great views. The food in the restaurant was really delicious. Our room was small but comfortable.
A beautiful and cozy sejour we had in Vila Camelia, charmeful wooden house with confortabe rooms in the center of Sinaia.
The breakfast was delicious and the staff welcoming, we'll come back, many thanks !
The place was even better than shown in the pictures (which looked good already 😊) - we rented a two-room appartment with a super nice and large lodge with a superb view, the rooms were clean and the beds as comfortable as can be. The house is an old, historical one but refurbished with taste and a modern feel. Close to the centre and a walking distance to the Peles castle - honestly the perfect place to get acquainted to Sinaia:) Plus the lovely hosts who made our stay truly enjoyable. Will definitely come back!
