The host will did the best to accommodate us, very friendly and helpful. There are lots of homemade delicious treats which can be purchased for a modest price.
Also the location is close to Cheile Galbenei, it takes about 30 minutes to drive by car to reach there, where it is the starting point for a gorgeous hiking trip.

Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The room we had was a bit small and basic, but this is what you can expect of a remote mountain traveler lodge. There is a nice community atmosphere with many people looking like seasoned hikers. The food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. The (reasonably priced) dinner is a set including soup, main and dessert, so we did not find the portions small. The hosts are very nice and helpful and there are plenty of pretty walking routes around, with varied degrees of difficulty. All in all, we felt great and welcomed there
Excellent location and host. The lodge is located in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains. Stuff is nice and friendly, the rooms are clean and the food is very tasty, although the portions are a kind of small. Will definitely stay here again.
