Located in a wonderful, very calm valley. We had a room with a magnificent view ! The host was super nice with us and very flexible, she cooked a delicious hearty breakfast with local placinte (pancakes typical from the region), and even gave us a jar of homemade jam. The location was gorgeous, it was very close to the Scărișoara glacier cave and very remote and private. I liked that every room had its private bathroom and that we had every utensil that we could need to prepare our meals. The host was very friendly and made a fire for us to grill our food and a campfire at night.

The property is new and very clean. It has everything you need and more.
The views are gorgeous. We stargazed at night and spent some time in the ciubar.
But the best thing was how welcoming the owner was. He made sure he connected us with local people in the village from whom we bought food and it was all homemade and delicious.
He also sent us some milk and traditional pies as a treat and that was very nice and well recieved after a day spent hiking. Would totally recommend staying at Cabana Miya and we would return the first chance we get!

Tiarra Mountain Lodge is an absolute gem. 5 stars is not enough for this experience. Starting with the location, the rooms and the service, all is to the highest standard. Warm hosts in a cozy environment all in a great mountain scenery. We had an extraordinary exlerience which we are keen to repeat very soon. Thank you for everything
Charming, spacious, rustic and comfortable lodge. We liked how the wood burning stove heats up the whole house and all the kitchen and bathroom amenities made it a comfortable stay.
