Modern lodge in a historical setting, situated in a beautiful forest with lots of trails to explore. The hosts were warm and welcoming and generously shared the history of the village and their culture with me. The incredible viewpoint of Balcões is easily accessible up the hill, and a friendly bar-café is perched directly above the house.
