Woulter and his staff are really cool people. The whole surf lodge itself offers many facilities and fun activities, in which they often accompany the guests

Everything! This place feels like home! The property was lovely furnished and decorated. The rooms and bathrooms have been cleaned every day. The staff prepared fresh delicious breakfast and you can sign up for dinner aswell. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are available. I highly recommend staying at the surflodge and book daytrips and sightseeing directly through them. It's been wonderful!
The property is well located to discover São Miguel Island and it is near from the beach. The room and the property in general are clean and nicely furnished. Julia, Wouter and Leo (the staff) form a great team, are very kind and always ready to help. The atmosphere at the surflodge was great. I strongly recommend it!
I had an amazing time at the Eco Surflodge! Just a small walk to the beach, but still very centrally located to discover the island. The design of the lodge itself is beautiful, the facilities are very comfortable and the hospitality and friendliness of Julia and Wouter made my stay feel like home
Cosy, little lodge, everything you need with no extras which is ok because the lodge itself is extra. Daniel is cheerful and helpful. There are even some groceries in the house when you arrive and every morning fresh bred at the door.
