Fantastic service, facilities and location at Coimbra Box Lodge hotel. We couldn't have been more satisfied. From the great cafe/restaurant on the top level, to the super fast wifi, clean bathrooms and fully blacked out rooms.
Wonderful central location overlooking the main church, the central pedestrian walkway filled with shops and restaurants and a great local nightlife. Clean efficient lodging and helpful internet communication with the host prior to and during our stay. We encountered no problem there. We would use it again.
We stayed two nights in the Box Lodge in Coimbra. The location is really good, just some steps away from the old town and also across a nice park.
The welcoming was perfect, we could put our luggage into lockers, got a map and even a beer. The receptionist was super friendly and nice and explained everything.
The Box was more spacious than I thought actually, the shower was very spacious even and there was shower gel and shampoo provided.
The owners were amazing. They did everything to make our stay comfortable - from picking us up and taking us back to the train station, to a mini tour to introduce us to the city and lovely treats at our lodging.
The apartment is well equipped and very central to all the main attractions.
The place was really confortable. Breakfast was impeccable. In Oryza you feel like you have traveled in time because they take care of every detail. The room was perfectly clean and silent throughout the night. The staff was beyond nice. They have a little plant garden where they produce biological goods to serve on their breakfast. Wifi was good. Parking is available next to the lodging. The best word to describe this place is : cozy. It reminds you of a classic family house, with modern appliances and decoration.
