OYO IS A SCAM OF A PLACE. !!This is the worse experience I’ve had at Philippines. I booked and paid via bookin.com and when we arrive the property manager or whoever didn’t allow us to check in without paying by cash again. Basically asking us to pay twice. When we reached out to Oyo they didn’t refund us but simply cancelled the booking without a refund as a no show. This is frustrating since we were stranded here and had to find a different lodging short notice.
Nice beach, but they burn trash all the time smells like burning wood/lodge all day
The garden is well maintained
Right outside in the morning is the feeding, you can actually watch the whale shark.
The biggest advantage is that's so close to the feeding.
we had a great stay at new village lodge, the staff really made us feel so welcomed and they were so helpful during our stay!! overall lovely hotel, really pretty at night with all the lights! good location and facilities, rooms were nice, lovely staff! thank you!!
Did not expect anything special about the place as it is too cheap. Turns out that the place is super nice and got all we needed. The bathroom is complete with hot and cold shower, the bed is very comfortable, and the aircon is super cold. On top of this, we also got a tv to keep us entertained. All that for just €12 a night! Glad that we gave this lodging house a chance despite some not so good reviews. We can say that we got more than what we paid for!
