Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
We had the most wonderful stay at Rumi Lodge. The rooms, kitchen and dining areas are all very clean, spacious, homely and decorated beautifully. It is a short walk out from town, perched up on the hill with stunning views. There’s a free washing machine for use, clothes line, plenty of grass and a fire pit. Extremely peaceful and beautiful, our favourite stay in Peru.
The room has window on the bed and bath room and in the morning there has nice sunlight from there and that's I really like about this hotel.
Also I am very sensible about smell but this place , I don't smell anything, feel hygenic.
The other thing I like about this lodge is I can hear the flow of the river so I don't need any music on. You can feel nature very much. I think the owner think about constructure very well. I wish if this is my house.
The sole staff member was very good in running the lodge. The rooms facilities were above average. WiFi was very good as was the breakfast served in a dining area.. Dinner involved driving less than 10mins to ther town centre. Location is good being on the only route to the extensive terracing and fortress.
Lovely lodge with a stunning view. It also has a kitchen with everything you need for cooking. we had the room on the upper level with the balcony which was just stunning! Steven who runs the place is the nicest guy ever! he is so helpful and caring and also speaks English very well.
Wolf Totem is on a beautiful mountain-side in tranquil Pisac. The lodge vib is fun and Ivan the owner makes sure you'll have a great stay. His food is exceptional, made from scratch. He fires-up the sauna twice a week and has a stone fire pizza oven.
