Looking for a lodge?
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

Property is beautiful, host was helpful and managed to book everything we needed. The housekeeper was really nice and made delicious food. The host had also booked our safari with zaher who was really welcoming and gave an amazing tour around the dessert.

We had a great stay but the most memorable part was the desert safari with Abdallah and his family. They were very accommodating to us as we are a group of young ladies of which one was not feeling well and 2 elderly women with car sickness. We got both the thrill and the care. Their kindness helped us feel very comfortable and safe and they shared their knowledge and experiences of the bedouin life openly. A day full of laughter we will never forget!

The domes have everything you need and more at a standard which is unbelievable for the desert. The hospitality of the staff is generally great in Oman, but here even exceptional. I absolutely recommend to stay more than one night to slow down. If you need action go with the team dune bashing. I also recommended a desert (safari) trip and have some coffee and dates way-out in desert with really no one close by. Overall, this team does not offer you just an accommodation, it creates unforgettable memories.

The camping site is easily accessible thanks to clear road signs. Our 4x4 car was easy to drive on the sandy terrain. The northern camp has all the necessary facilities, even a fireplace. It was possible to try sandboarding and we also asked for a desert safari, which was quickly arranged for us. The food was really good, the camel meat was exotic and delicious. Our host was very friendly and answered our questions quickly. We enjoyed our talks and learned a lot about Oman and its culture and people.
