Bed was extremely comfortable. Travelodge hotel is perfectly situated to walk and explore Wellington Botanical Gardens (accessed via cable car) Te Papa Museum, and Wellington cathedral. Very handy to have a great restaurant on site
I had an amazing time with my boys at the lodge, the hosts were very welcoming, the house was clean and had eveything that we needed, the bed was very comfy, location was very good too. I have family in Wellington and I would for sure stay at the lodge everytime I am down there. 🥰
We really struck gold staying at Travel Lodge Hotel due to the close walking proximity to Te Papa Musuem,The Cable Car,then free shuttle van to Zealandia, Beehive.
We have been travelling around the South Island and have stayed in many different quality hotels, motels, lodges. The Sofitel was one of the most comfortable and ensured three great night's of sleep.
The staff were fabulous: friendly, helpful and totally professional. Look out for Gaston and Toni who were particularly helpful and fun.
The gym was spacious and well-equipped - husband was very happy!
