Did not avail of the breakfast but across the road the cafe in the Racecourse was open for breakfast and served the best breakfast I have eaten for a long time. The Lodge is two minutes walk from the train station to Wellington and five minutes walk from a beautiful park which leads to the Hutt River pedestrian and cycle path. There are two bar/restaurants attached to the Lodge and a Liquor Store beside it.
Totara lodge facilities immaculate, all ataff friendly and willing to help... from front of house, housekeeping, restaurant, thank you one and all..our stay was great.
Our room was absolutely clean, fresh and amazing to stay in. We have stayed in numerous accommodations throughout the north island and Totara Lodge would have to be the most spotless, clean and tidy place that we've stayed at. Thank-you for that and thanks for the excellent service.
We really loved our stay here. The room was awesome, cozy and feels like we're just at home. The staff was amazing, friendly, accommodating and beautiful😍 We recommend this place and surely we'll stay here again when we get back to Wellington. Well done Totara Lodge!
