Such a beautiful location .. the room was warm, clean, quiet and the bed was amazing. The lodges restaurant food was delicious and the Staff made you feel welcome and very attentive.
This is an amazingly peaceful oasis, where you can chill out and enjoy the beauty of nature. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night and wished we could have stayed much longer. The facilities are brilliant and the lodges spacious and clean.
If you like the great outdoors, you will love it
The lodges are simple but well equipped and comfortable with great outside space for relaxing. A lovely backdrop of birdsong. A great base for exploring the local area. Would definitely recommend!
Quiet and peaceful and the lodges were spacious clean and comfy. Yeah its a little older but the bedding and towels were clean and fresh and very comfy. It had everything we needed for a 5 night stay We enjoyed the bonus of having hot mineral pools on the property. It was a great place to relax and to return to after a wonderful day enjoying hikes and the beautiful Tongariro and Lake Taupo area. We loved the calm village atmosphere and were happy to be tucked away among the refreshing natural beautiful trees and hot springs.
