Perfect stay. Would of liked to of stayed another day n night. Beautiful view of mount Ruapehu..outdoors seatings to enjoy views with food n wine. Kitchen area awesome as is the dining n lounge.. l will certainly stay again n again

We were warmly welcomed by our two hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The homemade jams and rhubarb compote which accompanied Breakfast were a nice touch and very tasty. The added personal touches really made our stay. For example, our hosts recommended a more scenic drive back to Wellington and a place to eat in nearby Ohakune.

Our 6 years old loves this place so much that he listed it as the second fun experience of our NZ trip(Skyline luge took the first place). There are farm animals and flowers around the lodge and it's really comfy, the owners are very friendly. Looking forward to going back in a winter.
