Nice and cozy lodge literally into the wild with amazing view, up to coromaldel Centre. The hosts are frindly and the breakfast made by themselves is delicious. So, everything is perfect!
We travelled from UK to NZ and our first stay was here in Coromandel , Gerrard and Jill made us very welcome and the breakfast outside was a bonus ( the weather when we arrived was wet) , but this was nothing to do with the hosts who made up for the poor weather. We would recommend Jacaranda lodge to all.
Not only the place was beautiful, but the owner was so kind and helpful! The tui lodge is definitely one of the best places we have stayed so far. Simple, clean, quiet, affordable. Although the place has quite a few rooms, it never felt busy. You have 2 kitchens and several toilets around the area. It never gave me the "hostel impresion".
Frances has a beautiful dog too! Her name is Nala, we love heeer!
During a rainy day she also gave us some recommendations to hand around and to eat.. great!!!!
The lodge is situated in the heart of Coromandel Peninsula with great access to hikes and beaches. The breakfasts were superb. The hosts were exceptional, very friendly and offered great hikes, beaches, places to eat and the history of the area. The view from the veranda is spectacular.

The receptionist and cleaning lady were both beautiful friendly ladies who made us feel very welcome, the lodge itself had a very relaxing calm feel to it, will most definitely return, very clean and well maintained, beds was very comfortable
Great value private toom in s hostel type lodge. Good kitchen and BBQ facilities. Comfy bed. Good wifi. Friendly. Good location in town. Parking on site.
