John's personal greeting upon arrival was a wonderful touch to a nice couple of days at his extremely well maintained lodge. He was kind enough to introduce me to the other guests staying at the lodge during my stay and the resident cat, Oscar. The room was large and very clean and organized. It was nice to have the cooking ability. The bed and linens were very comfortable.

An absolute favourite hotel in Arrowtown. Beautiful setting, fully appointed rooms, five-minute walk to the center of all that's happening in lovely Arrowtown. The staff is always kind and helpful, and the extra touches to make us feel welcome are so appreciated. Very highly recommend this quiet, private, small-scale/big care boutique lodge for a special treat.
The property was very clean and cosy. There were great amenities as in a very good kitchen and I loved having the fire outside as well as the spa. there was great outdoor dining as well. it would be a great place for a large family to stay as there are multiple lodges. The breakfast was beautiful. A short walk to Arrowtown and not far from Millbrook.
The lodge was beautifully decorated and furnished and with a lovely “English country garden”. Paul was a relaxed competent and welcoming host who made restaurant standard breakfasts. the kitchen was really well equipped and the bathroom was large and a great shower. location was just a walk down the street into Arrowtown. The spa and outdoor fire in our lodge were great.
