Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The Lodge treated me like a valued guest and were willing to do things to accommodate my needs. They were always smiling and cheerful. The Lodge was across from the National Park so it was easy to do a safari, a bike ride or a boat ride. Thanks Guide Sagar for my 4 guided adventures where I was able to see a rhino with a baby, some gaur, a monitor lizard, lots of birds, elephants and deer. I will be back to find the tiger that we heard in the grass.
Perfect Gateway.
The Staff puts in amazing detail and effort to take care of you.
And the Full Day Safari (which everyone here is complaining to be expensive) was completely worth the price. They prepared us amazing breakfast and lunch and sent it with another Jeep so that it is fresh.
We were taken on top of an Watchtower and while observing wild Rhinos had a delicious lunch.
So obviously you are paying more for it, because it’s a 5* experience.
The cultural Programm every evening was also amazing.
Stunning location, friendly and helpful staff. Made me and my family feel at ease. The safari guide Tek was knowledgable and engaging.
The rooms were well equipped and spacious.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
Loved the decor, Ecco friendliness and especially the staff. Staff go out of there way to look after you and we were sad to leave. We definitely recommend Barahi Jungle Lodge as the place to stay in Chitwan.
Barahi Jungle Lodge is a very good hotel, peaceful and comfortable, with a good restaurant and kind staff. I would have rated it five stars, if it wasn't for the problem at our departure.
Wonderful stay in a beautiful, fantastically located resort overlooking the Rapti River and Chitwan Safari Park. What really made the experience, beyond the gorgeous facilities and location, was the staff - who were incredibly thoughtful, attentive and friendly. Their Nepali hospitality made the experience exceptional.
Everything was amazing! We were treated like royalty, every team went out of its way to make sure we were happy. The rooms and facilities are fantastic, loved the shower. We did a boat safari with sundowners and a full day jeep safari, seeing lots of wildlife including the one horn Asian rhino, plus we had a lovely bush dinner in a magical setting.
Definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.
Staff, location, spa, restoraunt, atmosphere all were super! They helped us with different tours such as Taru village tour, elephant safari tour, arranged a cultural show night though we were only guests (as it was off season) thanks for everyone from the staff. Room facilities and everything is in high condition.
The service was amazing, very nice and kind staff. the suite was the most beautiful I ever been, I definetly reccomend staying in the suite with private pool. Restaurant was also very good and the safari is totally worth it.
