The accommodation is outside Spaarndam, the surroudings are pretty and peaceful - there's a dam with birds and swans nearby where we picnicked.
As we don't like cities that much we enjoyed riding around with the bycicles which are included with the accommodation.
We also enjoyed Spaarndam and went for a nice breakfast at Cafe de Buff.

Very cute location with a short walk to the beach and the city center.
Definitely a bit on the more expensive side of things but worthwhile anyhow.
Also very quiet in the area but I guess that's how the netherlands are.

The setting, surrounded by woods with walking paths. The very comfortable and spacious bedroom. Lovely breakfast.

Great for family with kids over 3 years . They can climb up to there beds.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The location was the the best aspect of the property. It was right on the see so kids can play just outside the lodge. The service was nice.
