Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
This Lodge is located right on the waterfront. The perfect location. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely. Highly recommend.
Lodge is situated in a very lively neighbourhood of Kuching, with many restaurants, a good spot for Coffee and a laundry service next door (that brings your laundry to the Lodge). Room is clean and airco and fan Work Well. Most important: host is a very nice and helpful guy. He took us in the middle of the night to the AirPort in hos own car for a very small fee.
The only thing that I like about my stay is the strategic location as it is located at the Carpenter Street. However for the same and much less rate, I'd suggest to go to Upper China Street and get the lodging there.
Clean, easy check in, location right in front of waterfront where you dock for the river cruise ship. There is H-Mart next door - a 24 hour convenient store. Welcoming staff. A simple decent lodge to sleep. They close the door at 12 midnight for safety, but tenants are given an access card. Aircon works fine.
The location is convenient, loved the old town vibe it gives. The front desk was also super helpful, even giving us his parking spot at the front of the lodge when there wasnt any parking space available.
Breakfast is provided. It's at a great location, a lot of eataries on the same street. The ramen shop right next door is a hidden gem (for lunch)! The kueh chap stall opens in the evening on the same street is good too. Wayne is friendly and helpful during our stay at Check In Lodge.
My place hotel and lodge staff is very friendly and i glad she explains the facilities provided. I like the decoration, especially the living area with books.I have trouble sleeping and i managed to finish reading a book.
It is situated in a great location in Jalan Padungan. Check In Lodge is in a converted Chinese shophouse in a beautifully preserved street of shops and eating places just down the road from the waterfront. It is clean and well maintained and represents excellent value for money. Our room was air conditioned and looked out over the street.
