Very nice accommodation! The houses are really good and the environment is peaceful. We really loved the swimming pool. Also the staff and manager Alif is very friendly and helpful. The location is in the middle of the island, so a scooter or grab is necessary to travel around. But you can hire a scooter at the accommodation for a fair price.
Ambong Rainforest Retreat offers an adult-only getaway amidst tropical surroundings. Located on a steep hill within the rainforest, rooms are only accessible via long staircases.

Sitting on the balcony with the monkeys in the trees is incredible. The staff are amazing. The rainforest retreat is a vegan breakfast, you can go to the sister hotel (pool resort) as an alternative but the vegan breakfast was far superior and Im a big meat eater. Their massages are fantastic too and very good value. Also, the Japanese restaurant on the corner at the entrance is fantastic.

I like almost everything to this lodge. The room is spacious for me. First, the location is very strategic. The lodge is privacy too me but near to shoplot (7E, mart, Laundry, foodstall). Easy to access Chenang or Kuah too because the road also near to Airport.
The room is thoughful. Hair dryer, mini fridge, spacious make up table, water heater, TV which can access Netflix. Very good wifi too. A cosy bedsheet. Some space to "solat" as well in room but you can solat at living area that the provide co-shared area. If you wanted to have vacay but wanted feel like home. Just try this. I also can park my car at outer the the lodge. Easy to me to bring in and out goods.
Definetly, will repeat this Grand Lodge. I satisfied with all of owner effort.
We even thought the owner must be some architect or engineer but looking the aesthethic look of the room and overall lodge area.

So close to being a great stay. Room was large and very nicely decorated.
Ideal for nature-lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and self-catered. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than holiday homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.

A calm place to relax surrounded by jungle. If you want to stay in the nature and not in the touristic area then come to the lodge. Very friendly and helpful staff that makes your stay perfect. The villas are clean and well equipped with a kitchen.
Comfortable wooden houses, well kept area. Everything is feels accessible with small shop on the property, laundry and services provided by the host. Very helpful owner.
Beautiful one of a kind stay in an eco lodge. Beautiful location, very relaxing taking in the views and open air layout of the communal leisure/recreational zone. Perfectly situated away from the busy parts of town but still central enough for all parts of the island to remain accessible.
