Sutera Sanctuary Lodges At Poring Hot Springs, hotel in Kundasang

Poring Hot Springs & Nature Reserve is at the foot of Mount Kinabalu in Kota Kinabalu. It features bird-watching spots, a butterfly farm, a sulphur bath and an outdoor pool.

The staff are just fantastic! Helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional, from the first greeting at reception by Angie and Pedro, to the very friendly team who serviced our room beautifully, to the wonderful breakfast staff … Wabster, Talia and Alice. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were always beautifully dressed and clean. Our first two nights we were sandwiched in between two noisy lodge occupants who slammed doors and spoke extremely loudly/ shouting to each other. On the last night, we were upgraded to a beautiful, large and quiet room. It was bliss. The staff decorated our bed as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and they made us feel so valued and special. We will definitely recommend Sutera Sanctuary Lodges at Poring Hot Springs and we cannot wait to return.

A small lodge with warm environment. The staff/lady with spectacles and guests are friendly :) Warm water is working well too! Make sure NOT to turn the water pressure to the max, so it has some time to heat up.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The lodges are situated within the Kinabalu park so you wake up to a breathtaking scenery of the mountain. It gets chilly in the evening and early morning. Our large king bed was super comfy. Breakfast was decent.
