I spent more than 2 weeks in Mexico with my partner and friends and this was definitely the best accommodation.
The rooms are very spacious and nicely designed. I really liked the garden and swimming pool area (very relaxing!).
Casa Cactus Buenavista has a great location to explore places like Bacalar, Los Rapidos, Mahahual.
Regarding food, the host can prepare it for you if you order in advance (it was so delicious!!!). You can also visit a local restaurant located few minutes on foot from Casa Cactus (there is also an option to have it delivered). Close to Casa Cactus there are also local shops with food, honey, souvenirs.
Wifi signal was strong and available everywhere (not only in rooms).
Jay and Sebastian are fantastic hosts. They took care of us so well. I felt like at home :)
I truly recommend Casa Cactus Buenavista and will definitely go back when I am in Mexico again.

Great cabins with a lake view and a nice terrace. Everything was as expected and shown in the photos. The outside shower area was a huge like. The road to the Amaca is a little bumpy but worth the drive there. They use the eco friendly products which is great. If you are into that kind of accommodation you'll love it there.

Fantastic wooden house. So pretty and authentic! We felt like camping or safari Mexican jungle safari. In the morning the serene garden and lake front, so peaceful and beautiful that it was hard to leave.
The place is beautiful, a must go if you are in Bacalar. The lodges are very nice and exceeded my expectations, very large and wonderfull that there is a small kitchen. We made our own breakfast and even lunch there, to stay at this place was amazing. The garden is great for relaxation and we could swim directly in the lagoon.
