Everything! The cabanas and the little cute pool are made with so much love and attention to details. The yard is full of greenery, birds and life, so beautiful.
But most amazing is the hospitality of Rasi, Chami and especially Anwar who always went extra mile for caring of us. The breakfast was lovely, freshly home made and varied every day.
It was really hard to leave the place.

The room was lovely, a good size and very clean. The bathroom was modern and spotless. There was a shared kitchen which had all the basic cooking utensils. Breakfast was delicious and varied day to day, including a hot breakfast and fruits. The lodge is across the road from a very nice swimming bay and is also a short distance from surf spots and trendy cafes. Excellent hosts. Good value for money.

Initially we planned to stay 1 week at Subodinee’s bungalows, but after the first night we realized we wanted to stay there for the rest of our holidays. The reasons for that was this huge beautiful garden, like a park, where you can see birds like peacocks, kingfishers, bee-eaters, and hummingbirds. And the second big reason to stay was delicious food they serve there, especially dinners.
Our bungalow was very clean, and spacious. It had AC, shower, there was additional sink in a common space, a workspace, a mini fridge, a kettle. Cleaning service every week, additionally you could book a laundry service.
There was a pool, but we never used it, because beach was a few mins down the road.
The owners are very warm and friendly people. The whole place has chill and friendly atmosphere. We had an amazing time, and would definitely love to come back.

Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The backpackers lodge is just nearby the jungle. Get up early in the morning to see the monkeys swing by or the water monitor take his daily walk. Moreover, you get to enjoy a breakfast at your stay and the room is very spacious.
Very luxurious eco lodge in the middle of a „jungle“. We received a nice upgrade to the villa lodge at arrival. Everything is very clean and staff is very friendly.
Everything, from the beginning till the end the staff were so friendly and helpful and they even extended their breakfast buffet as we went on a boat ride to see dolphins and whales and returned a bit late. I recommend this lodge to everyone as it’s well worth the money and experience!
A piece of 300 year old+ living history. Set back from a busy main road, it felt safe, quiet and peaceful.... Although still in a jungle setting, we saw just as much wildlife as any safari! Our rooms had adjoining rooms for the children which was a godsend for us and them! Decent breakfast. Excellent staff.
The main menu/poolside menu and dinner menu is a bit confusing but the food was excellent and, coming from Birmingham, I can say the Sri Lankan pork curry was a top 5 EVER 🏆🇱🇰
All in all we had a wonderful stay. The green surrounding and pure nature, the super friendly staff, the food and the private lodges with very nice bath and room. We will definitely come back!
The whole place felt like a spa getaway retreat. The setting and pool are amazing like a tropical oasis in the jungle. Because there aren't many lodges it felt very exclusive and quiet. Food felt very healthy and was delicious. There is a free tuktuk in to the town as well which is a great feature (not that we took up the offer we were too busy unwinding for the few days we were here). They offer an 'all inclusive' option for $25 a day.
We were warmly welcomed and made to feel very much at home. The garden, pool and house are a little piece of paradise on earth. The lodges are spacious, tranquil and contemporary, offering lots of privacy whilst being immersed in the surrounding nature with birds. The food is delicious with a wide menu. Breakfast/lunch/dinner were all delicious with generous portions. The staffs including owner Mr. Ganga were ridiculously helpful, and more than happy to accommodate any requests.
The architecture and aesthetic of the hotel is beautiful. A lovely place to relax and enjoy nature. Also loved the way the lodges are built.
The staff is very friendly. The food was home cooked and delicious.
Free tuktuk shuttle to the beach was awesome. Also good location to explore the Galle area
Kaju Green is one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed in. The lodges are spacious, tranquil and contemporary, offering lots of privacy whilst being immersed in the surrounding nature.
Breakfast / lunch / dinner were all delicious with generous portions. The staff were ridiculously helpful, and more than happy to accommodate any requests.
We went on a cycling tour round paddy fields and a coconut mill, yoga on the sun deck and a morning canoe.
