The owner was extremely kind and welcoming. Once we arrived we were welcomed and got a cup of tea and then she asked us if we wanted dinner, breakfast and if we wanted to do the safari, which she arranged for us directly for the next morning. The room was very beautiful and clean. Even better than you would expect from a place in the middle of the jungle.
When we left for the safari we got a complete picknick box with breakfast and water and the tour was very nice. We did the half-day tour, which was long enough for us (you leave at 6h and are back at 12h) and we saw a lot of animals.
If you do the 2-day tour, make sure to book for 2 nights, as you will be back in the dark, so it is almost impossible to leave then.
Good to know: she had no change, which is completely okay of course, but make sure to bring enough different bills (we only had large bills).

Nestled in the middle of rice fields and very close to Wilpattu National Park this place is extremely well located and really beautiful.
Hashan, the manager is absolutely wonderful – he also organizes safaris, (half or full day exploring the park with him). It was an incredible experience! He was unbelievably kind and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction throughout the day. His dedication to helping guests spot leopards during the safari is remarkable – and he succeeds!
His wife’s cooking is simply divine, whether it’s meals served at the accommodation or packed for the tour. The food is outstanding!
I recommend this place. It was a peaceful retreat for two nights and an amazing wildlife adventure during the day.

Owner very busy. Couldn't find time to talk with guests. However rendered service to some extent to us. Assistant is good. Location is outside but worth for money.

Very friendly family who are really helpful and want to show you around. Booked our safari through them. Hut is basic but with the mosquito net it is everything you need. Good Sri Lankan food. Close to the park.
Perfect location! Within 5 mins drive to Wilpattu National Park. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. A big shout out to Henry. He was like a personal butler to us, arranged a safari tour for us and treated us like royalty. The Sri Lankan dinner was so delicious and generous. The room was clean and had a separate toilet to the bathroom. Love the pool, overlooking the padi field and sunset. Highly recommend this beautiful place.
We stayed for one night to go to the Wilpattu national park. Very kind staff, they organised the safari for us. Super clean and modern chalets with great view, looks exactly like in the pictures. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the accomodation.
Amazing location, the family is super friendly and helps with everthing. We even got a little guided walk to the lake by their son. The food was amazing, the safari for wilpattu was also arranged by them.
Wonderful on-site staff, friendly and helpful. I don't speak Sri Lankan so communication in English was a bit of a challenge but possible. Food breakfast, lunch and dinner is tasty good and reasonably priced. Prepared lunch for Safari tour was most excellent. The tour operator they are kinda connected to is priced right and I would use them again. Big water jug in the room.
It's a good place to stay only for a night to visit willpattu national park; or maybe choose a room with a bathroom inside of it. Owner was super sweet, packed breakfast for the park since safaris start really early; he also brought me lunch from a town (not for free of course) & dropped me off at the bus stop when I left.
Right by the door of the national Park. The owner was super nice to us. And the Safari we hired through him was with an excellent guide. We saw all the animals!
