We enjoyed our stay at Chamith’s hotel. He owns the place with his brother and they’ve had a really hard go at it since covid. You can now really tell they’re doing their absolute best to give you an amazing experience. The bungalows are new, clean, large and have everything you need. The owners prepared us food for the evenings and even packed us breakfast for our very early safari (very tasty!). All in all, if you like wildlife and nature, don’t think twice before coming here! I stayed with my friend in a tent for 2 nights to allow us to safari at Yala- The campsite is beautiful with lots of nature right outside. There is hammocks and chairs in the patio area to enjoy the surroundings. The tent is super clean and sturdy and can be kept cool, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom is amazing. Our host Asanka was so nice and easygoing and helped us with anything we needed- he made us packed breakfast for our safari, showed us the sights in Tissa on our first night (if you get time, definitely go to watch the bats leave the lake as the sun sets- amazing experience!) and helped us figure out public transport to our next location- really a great host!

The staff is wonderful. During our entire trip through Sri Lanka we haven't met any nicer people than here. Moreover, the food they offer you will not only fulfill your taste buds, it will also fill you for days to come. Lastly, they are in a brilliant location to provide safaris to Yala and are great at finding animals and explaining around the whole ecosystem.

The lodge was really clean and excellent size with good air conditioning. The hotel organised a great safari and transfer to next destination. They communicated well prior to arrival re safari options. Food made to order was lovely.
Very friendly and helpful staff, good food in the restaurant, rooms were very clean. Perfect location to go on a safari in Yala. The hotel also organised a Safari for us. Prasad was the best guide and was so knowledgeable! He told us all about the wildlife in the park and did everything he could to make sure we get to see a Leopard! It was a great experience in the Lodge and on The safari with Prasad!

Great value for money - the lodges were big, modern and clean. This is a really nice place to stay if you are going on a safari in Yala National park! The safari tour was also arranged through the hotel and we had the best guide, who showed us the leopards and told us all about the animals living there. Simply amazing!
Beautiful rooms and brilliant service! We arrived around 6.30pm and ordered dinner to be seated at 7.30 straight away at the reception, so it was super easy sitting down and they bought the food right out to you. Beautiful lodges.
