Our boat was broken and stopped, so we had to sleep on the boat during the night. The Mekong riverside lodge stuff kindly prepred breakfest for us just before we have changed the boat. And this was for free. Thanks for understanding the unfavorable situation and for the helpfulness, the night on the boat was very long. Regards, Bojan

The Lodge is run by a professional and friendly staff. From the time we were picked up from the Slow Boat until we were returned to the boat the following morning, nothing was too much effort for the team. Both dinner and breakfast were tremendous.

The Sanctuary Lodge is located high on a hill overlooking the Mekong River. Our room offered an amazing advantage point to see the sunset and enjoy the quiet, beautiful location. The staff were very helpful offering, excellent service. The cocktails and food were also very good.

All the basics covered. Was a place to sleep for the night and a well needed comfortable bed after a long boat ride. Nothing fancy but to be expected in such a remote area. We were happy to be picked up at pier and also dropped off in morning.

The Family was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and fresh. The view great. The Lodge was very intimate and the atmosphere very special. Regarding the other accommodation we saw in Pak Beng it gave a kind of Safari feeling. Anytime again.
