Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
Lovely setting on the river to have a meal and drinks. Cute lodging. Very friendly and helpful staff. Superb food. Excellent cocktails. Went kayaking on the river...great fun.
Here is a natural and quiet place, the room is clean and the people here are very friendly. I like the tree relax lodge for seeing sunset, the pool is clean. specially I like khmer house style.
The food is incredible, the facilities are fab, the rooms / lodges are gorgeous, swimming in the river is a joy. And the staff are the nicest, most helpful I've met in cambodia. A special place.
- The authentic retro vibe in the guesthouse
- The cutest resident cats :)
- The most relaxing and well furnished common area, attentive staff, free kayaks, the food was so good that we didn’t feel the need to go out
- The double room in the main wooden house was very comfortable, cosy and super clean (we thought it was fan only but there was a brand new air con unit too!)
- The bathroom is shared with only one other room, was always clean and we enjoyed the morning breeze through the window
- Fresh smelling sheets and towels
Beautifull resort so charming.
The bungalows with river view are awesome.
One of my favorite resort in Caobodia including TARA Lodge in KEP.
If.you are a nature lover, for sure you will enjoy this places.
What a lovely set of bungalows. Perfect location for the train station and, because the station is a bit out of town, lovely and quiet. Comfortable beds, air conditioning or fan to chose for cooling. Or a cute little pool for a dip when the heat gets too much. Great breakfasts for just $5. Staff are fantastic, especially the main man Lodge (apologies for spelling) who couldn't have been more helpful. So, all in all, a great place as a base to explore Kampot (it's only 5000 riels by tuktuk to the Durian roundabout to get into town).
This is for a restful respit from the world. Did it suit me, no but I can see it’s benefits, couples and the younger love it. It has everything, toilet is good even if it away from the room.
The staff is great, couldn’t understand all of them but that’s not their fault they don’t know English but not their fault. It’s tranquil. Stay in lodges on the river, unteal
Our hosts Sophea and Alex were so kind and friendly , we immediately felt at home among friends . Exceptionnal lodge environment quiet and peaceful , it’s just a green heaven ! Sophea cuisine is amazing , specially Amok , which deserves 3 stars . Last , but not least, swimming pool is great after long day in Kampot surrounding visit . We have left marvellous friends , so we strongly recommend Bluebird lodge !
Thank you once more Sophea and Alex for your hospitality.
