Ideal for nature lovers looking for a self-sufficient getaway, lodges are fully furnished and have kitchen facilities. Usually made of wood and surrounded by forests or mountains, lodges can be part of a group or a single unit. More remote than vacation homes, lodges are popular for safari trips.
The level of hospitality they provide is awesome. I really enjoyed our stay at the property. The safari tour they took us on was amazing. We got to see lots of wildlife and they provided boxed lunch. The staff was kind, friendly, and very welcoming.
We just loved our stay, the place is in the middle of nature, you can listen to the sounds of tons of birds and insects around you. If you love nature, this is your place. On the top of it, the staff was amazing with us Felista and Victor were great. They find a solution for everything we needed to enjoy our stay in Tsavo. They booked taxis to pick us up in the Voi train station and they booked a safari in Tsavo West for us for a fair price. Thank to all the staff, they made of our Tsavo visit a magic memory.
If your planning on staying in Voi then I highly recommend Impala Safari Lodge. The rooms were very clean the food was amazing and the staff made the whole trip they really did anything they could do for us. Amazing place
All the very professional friendly staff!! The East Tsavo game drive, the birding walk around the Lodge, the quality and the massive portion meals (you won't go hungry here!). Faith - always with a big smile, a friendly hello and willingness to serve meals perfectly every time. The first class SGR train service to Voi is phenomenal! Comfortable, air conditioned, punctual, clean and with view of the park and general. Kenya landscapes en route.
The location was great, the view of the mountain rainge nearby and the greenery was wonderful. The food was also yummy and the staff definitely created a very positive atmosphere. I greatly appreciated their efforts for increasing sustainability and that a lot of their fruits were self-grown. The manager was also helpful in providing us with food for our safari the next day and was even able to offer help with guides or transport!
James and his staff are incredible, friendly and hospitable eager assist in every way.
James, the owner went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met including travel to and from the lodge and organising the safari,
Loved our stay at this family run Ecolodge.
The rooms were spacious and clean, the food was delicious and the area was green and quiet. Perfect to unwind after a long day in the nature.
We did a couple of fantastic safaris to the surrounding national parks with the host David and his friends. They had great recommendations for the tours and were very professional in all respects.
On our day off we did birdwatching and a nature walk in the surrounding area and saw lots of stuff apart from the big five.
Very helpful and nice staff. Only one night stop over, would have liked to have explored more and stayed longer. They are doing a great job at the eco lodge
